Night Before the "500"

The month of May is nearly over in Indianapolis. Hard to believe, but it has been since May 12th that I've been in town covering The Race and serving God for Kingdom Racing. The physical and emotional drain has been harsh.

But I am ready for tomorrow. The team is ready for tomorrow. And Davey is ready for tomorrow.

I get the feeling that something great is going to happen. God did not inspire the creation and existence of Kingdom Racing without a purpose. None of us are here to merely watch Davey climb in the No. 11 HP machine and turn some laps in the Indianapolis 500 tomorrow. No. We have been charged with a much Higher Purpose than this.

It is all about His mission. Tomorrow morning, Kingdom Racing and Davey Hamilton will perform before the world. We will be getting God's Message out through television sets around the globe. And the Good Lord willing, we might just turn up shocking the whole lot of them. Having gotten to know the team and Davey, they are more than capable. But there are a lot of variable that have to play out before the end of tomorrow's big dance. Please keep us and the entire team in your prayers. Remember us, when on bended knee offering your thanks to a gracious and loving God. Remember us, when praising Him for His mighty works. Remember us, when asking the Lord for greater ministry in life.

Because that is who we are. Kingdom Racing is small right now, but we will grow. We know that God has great things in store for us and the chase for that ratchets up big time tomorrow morning.

Follow us on Twitter (@KingdomRacing) and Facebook (Kingdom Racing) for updates throughout The Race.

Due to the complex and tight nature of the last few days of the May schedule, look for my culminating blog entries to come after returning to Texas on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Beside that, keep us in your prayers. We know you will and can certainly feel them from all over.

Amen.

In Christ,
